Unstable or incorrect values usually have simple physical causes.
𫧠Air bubbles on the probe
- Air bubbles prevent proper contact with water.
- Gently shake the device underwater to release bubbles.
đż Dirty probe (algae, fungus, deposits)
- Remove the device and rinse the probe with clean water.
- Use a soft cloth only (no chemicals or brushes).
đ§ Probe too dry (after winter or long storage)
- If the probe dried out, place the device in water for 24 hours.
- Recalibrate once the probe is fully hydrated.
⥠During charging
Measurements taken while charging are not reliable. Always ignore readings during charging.
đ§Ș After calibration
Measurements may fluctuate for several hours. This is expected behavior.
