What are the Heating and Cooling Modes in the Fluidra Pool App?

The Heating/Cooling Modes in the Fluidra Pool App allow you to control how your heat pump regulates the pool water temperature—either by heating, cooling, or automatically switching between both.

Available Modes and what they do

Note: Depending on your heat pump model, the app will show either a "Cooling mode" section or a "Heating / Cooling modes" section.

  1. Heating Mode
    The heat pump will activate only when the water temperature drops below the set point. Ideal for cooler days or when maintaining a comfortably warm pool.

  2. Cooling Mode
    The system will activate only when the water temperature exceeds your set point. Perfect for hot climates or indoor pools where water can overheat.

  3. Auto (Heat & Cool) Mode
    In this mode, the heat pump will automatically switch between heating and cooling to keep the pool at your desired temperature, offering full climate control

How to select the Mode in the App

  1. Go to "My Equipment" and select "Heat Pump".
  2. Click on the three dots at the top right and select "Settings".
  3. Depending on your model, switch on/off the Cooling/ Heating mode, or choose the mode you prefer.
