If your Freedom Lite is not connecting to Wi-Fi, don’t worry. Most connection issues can be resolved with a few quick checks.

✅ Before troubleshooting, make sure:

  • The robot is fully charged

  • You are using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network

  • Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone

  • You are standing close to the robot and router

  • You entered the correct Wi-Fi password

Freedom Lite does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks.

🔄 Step 1 – Restart Everything

  1. Turn OFF the robot.

  2. Close the Fluidra Pool App completely.

  3. Restart your smartphone.

  4. Turn the robot back ON.

  5. Try pairing again.

📶 Step 2 – Check Your Wi-Fi Network

  • Make sure your Wi-Fi signal is strong near the pool.

  • Move closer to your router during setup.

  • If needed, install a Wi-Fi extender closer to the pool area.

  • Disable mobile data temporarily during setup (some phones switch networks automatically).

🔍 Step 3 – Confirm Network Mode

Freedom Lite works only with:

  • 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

  • WPA/WPA2 security

If your router combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under the same network name:

  • Temporarily separate the networks

  • Or force your phone to connect to the 2.4 GHz band

📱 Step 4 – Check App Permissions

On your smartphone:

  • Make sure Bluetooth permission is enabled for the Fluidra Pool App.

  • Allow Location access (required for Wi-Fi setup on some devices).

  • Enable Notifications (optional but recommended).

🔁 Step 5 – Try Manual Pairing

If QR pairing fails:

  1. Select “Add Equipment” in the app.

  2. Choose manual setup.

  3. Enter the Cloud ID and Access Code (inside the robot, below the QR code).

  4. Follow the instructions.

❗ Still Not Connecting?

If the issue continues:

  • Try pairing from a different smartphone.

  • Reset your router.

  • Move the robot closer to the router during setup.

If none of the above works, contact Customer Support and provide:

  • Robot model

  • Cloud ID

  • Description of the issue

  • Screenshot of the error (if available)

Wi-Fi issues are usually related to network configuration rather than the robot itself.
