The sensor probe is a consumable component and should be replaced periodically to maintain accurate measurements.

Under normal conditions, the sensor probe has an expected lifespan of approximately 2 years.

When should I replace the probe?

You may need to replace the probe if:

  • The probe has reached the end of its expected lifespan.
  • Measurements remain inaccurate after calibration.
  • The probe is damaged.
  • The Fluidra Pool app recommends replacing the probe.

Before replacing the probe

Before replacing the probe:

  • Make sure you have a compatible replacement probe.
  • Perform the replacement in a clean and dry environment.
  • Keep the device in a vertical position throughout the procedure to prevent water from entering the product.

Important precautions

To avoid damaging the device or the new probe:

  • Do not touch the sensing areas of the probe with your fingers.
  • Do not remove the grease inside the device.
  • Replace the seal supplied with the new probe.
  • Do not leave the device open longer than necessary.

How do I replace the probe?

  1. Remove the device from the pool or pipe installation.
  2. Dry the device thoroughly.
  3. Remove the sensor cap.
  4. Unscrew and remove the probe cover.
  5. Carefully remove the existing probe.
  6. Remove and discard the old seal.
  7. Scan the QR code of the new probe using the Fluidra Pool app when requested.
  8. Install the new seal supplied with the replacement probe.
  9. Insert the new probe into the device.
  10. Reinstall and tighten the probe cover until it is securely locked in place.
  11. Reinstall the sensor cap.
  12. Place the device back into operation.

What should I do after replacing the probe?

After replacing the probe:

  • Return the device to the pool or installation.
  • Allow the sensor time to stabilize.
  • Measurements may require several hours before becoming fully accurate.

If measurements remain inaccurate after the stabilization period, perform a calibration or contact your retailer or customer support.
