No.

Do not perform measurements during shock chlorination.

High chlorine concentrations may:

  • Cause unstable readings

  • Damage the probe

  • Reduce probe lifespan

Wait until chlorine levels return to normal before reviewing measurements.

Why must the Aqua Connect probe remain in water?

The probe must remain hydrated to function correctly.

If left dry:

  • The sensor may become damaged.

  • Measurements may become unreliable.

If you remove the device from the pipe

Install the storage cap filled with:

  • Saturated KCl solution (recommended)

  • pH4 solution

  • Or pool water (temporary solution only)

Never use demineralized water in the storage cap.

Keeping the probe properly hydrated ensures accurate and stable measurements.
