Blue Connect and Aqua Connect are calibrated at the factory before delivery and do not require calibration during the first installation.
To maintain accurate measurements over time, it is recommended to calibrate the sensor periodically.
When should I calibrate my device?
Calibration is recommended:
- Once per season.
- After replacing the sensor probe.
- If the measurements appear inaccurate or unstable.
When is calibration not required?
Calibration is not required:
- During the first installation.
- After normal charging.
- After routine use of the device.
Before you start
Before performing a calibration:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Stay close to the device throughout the calibration process.
- Do not calibrate the device while it is charging.
- Use new calibration solutions. Calibration solutions are single-use only and should not be reused.
How do I calibrate my device?
All calibration procedures are guided through the Fluidra Pool app.
Open the Fluidra Pool app, select your device, and follow the instructions in the calibration section.
After calibration
After calibrating the sensor, allow time for the measurements to stabilize.
- Following a pH calibration, wait approximately 3 hours before relying on the measurements.
- Following an ORP calibration, stabilization may take longer. Wait at least 6 hours before evaluating the readings.
If measurements continue to appear inaccurate after calibration, check that the sensor is clean and correctly installed, or contact your retailer or customer support.
