Cleaning modes available for Freedom Lite

The following cleaning modes are available:

Floor / Walls

  • Cleans the walls first, then the floor
  • Wall cleaning depends on battery level
  • Designed for full pool coverage

Floor

  • Cleans the pool floor only
  • Recommended when using a pool cover
  • Also used automatically when battery level is low

Walls

  • Cleans vertical surfaces only
  • Wall climbing occurs immediately after entering the water

Waterline

  • Cleans the waterline area
  • Uses a dedicated waterline cleaning pattern

Multi‑day (app only)

  • Available only in the app
  • Cleans floor only
  • Runs multiple cleaning cycles over several days
  • The robot remains in the pool between cycles
  • No recharging between cycles

How to select a cleaning mode from the app

  1. Open the Fluidra Pool app
  2. Select your Freedom Lite
  3. Go to the cleaning controls screen
  4. Choose the desired cleaning mode
  5. Tap Start to begin the cycle

✅ The selected mode will be applied when the cycle starts.

How to select a cleaning mode directly on the robot

  1. Press the power button to turn the robot on
  2. Press the button briefly to cycle through the available modes
  3. Stop pressing when the desired mode is selected
  4. Place the robot in the pool

✅ The robot starts cleaning automatically once it detects water.

Important behavior notes

  • The robot may adapt its behavior based on battery level
    • Wall cleaning is reduced when the battery is low
  • Selecting a mode does not override safety logic
  • The app does not force the robot to clean areas that are restricted by battery level or operating conditions

What happens if the robot is not connected to the app?

If the robot:

  • Is not connected to Wi‑Fi, or
  • Loses connection during use

✅ It will continue cleaning in the selected mode.

Only these features are unavailable:

  • Remote mode selection
  • Status updates
  • Push notifications
