Troubleshooting Your Chlorinator with Fluidra Pool App
Having trouble with your chlorinator? Let’s walk through some quick checks and solutions to get it working again.
🔌 Connectivity Issues
Is your chlorinator not responding or missing real-time data in the app?
✅ Try the following:
- Make sure the chlorinator is installed in an area with strong Wi-Fi coverage.
- The signal strength (RSSI) should be -60 dBm or better for reliable operation.
- If the app seems stuck or not updating, disconnect the equipment from power for at least 2 minutes, then reconnect. This forces the device to refresh and send updated data to the cloud.
⚙️ Installation & Configuration
Did you install the chlorinator yourself and now see errors or missing parameters?
📘 Double-check the equipment manual to confirm proper setup.
🛠️ If issues persist, contact your authorized dealer or technician for support.
📉 Missing Parameters (pH, ORP, etc.)
Are values visible on the device but not in the app?
🔍 Your model may require an additional module to display those values.
📘 Check the manual for compatibility.
📩 If the app should show them and doesn’t, use the “Report an Issue” option in the app.
⚠️ If values are missing on both the device and app, it could be a sensor or hardware issue — contact your technician.
🌡️ Salinity Reading Shows “0”
Seeing a zero salinity value in the app?
💡 Salinity only appears when chlorine production is above 40%.
If production is below that, showing “0” is expected.
🚫 Chlorinator Only Produces in Boost Mode
Does chlorine production stop when Boost is turned off?
This may be due to a setting or alarm blocking normal production. Try these steps:
- 📺 On the device screen, check that Production % is not set to 0.
- ⚙️ Go to Configuration → Chlorine Control:
- Ensure External Control (CLE) is OFF (unless using an external controller).
- Keep Internal Control (CLI) OFF if not using an ORP sensor.
- 🔔 Check Information → Alarms for active messages like:
- STOP Cl
- Flow
- Salt/Temperature
These alarms will stop chlorine production. Once resolved, normal operation should resume outside of Boost mode.
