The BOOST function allows your connected saltwater chlorinator to temporarily increase chlorine production to 100%. This feature is useful whenever your pool requires extra sanitation — for example, after a pool party, heavy rainfall, or when the water appears cloudy.
When Should I Use It?
BOOST is ideal when your pool needs rapid disinfection, such as:
After intense use (many swimmers)
Following storms or rainfall
When water looks cloudy or chemically unbalanced
How Does It Work?
Once activated, BOOST sets your chlorinator’s production level to 100% for a predefined period (usually 24 hours).
After this time, the chlorinator will automatically return to its previous setting.
How Do I Activate It?
Open the Fluidra Pool app.
Go to your chlorinator screen.
Locate the “Boost” toggle (just below the chlorination slider).
To activate, simply switch it on.
💡 Note:
If your system detects a closed pool cover, chlorine production is already set to 100% for safety and efficiency reasons.
In this case, the BOOST option will appear disabled, since it would have no added effect.
(This only applies if the pool cover sensor or relay is physically connected to the Elite Connect control unit. Otherwise, the system cannot detect the cover’s status.)
