The Heating/Cooling Modes in the Fluidra Pool app allow you to control how your heat pump regulates pool water temperature — by heating, cooling, or automatically switching between both.
Available Modes and What They Do
Note: Depending on your heat pump model, the app will display either a “Cooling mode” section or a “Heating / Cooling modes” section.
Heating Mode
The heat pump activates only when the water temperature drops below the set point.
Ideal for cooler days or when maintaining a comfortably warm pool.
Cooling Mode
The system activates only when the water temperature exceeds the set point.
Perfect for hot climates or indoor pools where the water can overheat.
Auto (Heat & Cool) Mode
In this mode, the heat pump automatically switches between heating and cooling to maintain your desired temperature — offering full climate control.
How to Select the Mode in the App
Go to “My Equipment” and select “Heat Pump”.
Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select “Settings”.
Depending on your model, toggle Cooling/Heating mode on or off, or select your preferred mode.
